Day Treatment
At the BCOM, we believe that patients should be offered the least restrictive environment possible based on their specific condition and treatment needs. Not everyone experiencing mental or emotional difficulty needs inpatient treatment. Yet an outpatient approach may not provide the degree of structure and support such a person requires.
The Day Treatment Program is housed in a 25-person unit located adjacent to the main BCOM building. This program provides services to those patients who do not require 24-hour inpatient care.
The patients in the Day Treatment Program receive focused daily treatment Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The care and therapy provided is overseen by a credentialed Psychiatrist and is designed to meet the individual needs of each unique patient.
